Volunteer/Intern Appreciation Refugee Simulation

This free Refugee Simulation will let you experience first-hand some of the steps in the refugees' journey to become admitted into the US. After a 30 minute overview of the current global crisis and the situation in refugee camps, participants will be placed in groups of 5-6 to roll-play members of a refugee family as they walk through three screenings: a United Nations High Commissioner of Refugees (UNHCR) interview, a language class and a medical screening. A debrief and staff member story will conclude the event.
