Tanner Dance

Monitors are parent volunteers who help the dancers during and after rehearsals and performances, on and off stage, and in the dressing rooms or lounge areas.
The year due to COVID we will need monitors to stay with their classes for the entire monitor shift, we cannot leave classes unattended. Please take these COVID adjustments into account when choosing to sign up for this volunteer job. To keep numbers of people down in designated areas, please do not bring anyone with you (such as younger siblings) when you monitor.
*Please plan on attending the Monitor Orientation TBD. Time spent at the orientation can be counted toward your volunteer hours. More information will be emailed to you soon.
*Please arrive on time so students can check in with you before they go into rehearsal and please do not leave until all students are accounted for.
*You can monitor for any class, even if you don’t have a child in that particular class.
**Please complete the Youth Protection Training and background check before volunteering.** You will be receiving information soon about completing this if you are a newer CDT family or if it has been 3 years since your last time going through this process.
