SLOBs Club Meeting

Calling all SLOBs members and mentors! You are invited to our next club meeting on Thursday, Jan 16, 2025 at 7pm. Please sign up for this event on Track It Forward’s website or mobile app.

We will also collect gently used clothing for our philanthropy partner Love Anaheim. Clothing for men, women, teenager and children are welcome, as long as they are gently used, having no signs of tear, holes, or stain. (No service hour will be offered.)

Log hour: When you attend the club meeting event, please log a maximum of 0.05 hour at the event site, using the mobile app. The GPS tracking feature of the app will confirm your attendance.

Student attire: Navy SLOBs T-shirt.

Meeting requirement for student members: Attend four or more club meetings per year.
Service hour requirement for student members: At least 10 hours between 5/1/24 and 4/30/25.

Meeting requirements for adult mentors: Attend two or more meetings per year.
Service hour requirement for adult mentors: At least 5 hours between 5/1/24 and 4/30/25.

We are transitioning to digital sign-in! All students and guardians are encouraged to download the app before the club meeting, so we can test the mobile app together at the member meeting.

To download the app to your mobile device:
1. Search for “TrackItForward” in App Store or Google Play. The app might be called “Volunteer Time Tracking” instead. The developer is named OurVolts, LLC. The logo is in green color, in a shape similar to a tree. (See the image attached.)
2. After downloading, search for an organization named “Fullerton Service League of Boys”.
3. Log in using your login credentials for Track It Forward.
4. Opt in for text messaging and input your cell phone number. You will receive event reminders and communication via text. (This is very helpful to those who don’t read emails daily.)
5. Sign up for the SLOBs club meeting event on TIF mobile app, if you haven’t already. If you have signed up, look for your signup for this meeting in the Event section under the main menu.
6. Hour log: On the day of the meeting, you may use your smartphone to log 0.05 hour for attending the club meeting, but the time logged will not count toward any volunteer award or service hour requirement.
7. How to sign in at the club meeting: After arriving at the event location, please open the mobile app and select Hour Log from the main menu. On the form, choose “Add Verifications” at the bottom, then choose “Verifications: GPS” to provide your location. (Note: Digital Hour Log must be done at the meeting site. If the GPS pin is showing a location other than the event site, your service hours logged may be reduced unless we can corroborate or prove your attendance at the meeting.)
