TACA Family Carnival
Sunday, June 01 2025
TACA (The Autism Community in Action) is hosting its annual family carnival to provide a day of fun and community for children with special needs. The event features carnival rides, bounce houses, arts/crafts, and sensory activities. Depending on the shift worked, volunteers may be assigned to assist in one of following: event setup, event support, assembly of swag bags, supervision of carnival activities or children's activities, and event tear down. (Last year's event photos can be found at https://www.flickr.com/photos/talkaboutcuringautism/sets/72177720317640588/)
**Lunch will be provided to volunteers.**
Volunteer requirements: (a) Minimum age required: Age 13+. (b) Please sign a waiver at the event or bring a signed waiver. Students need to have a parent or guardian sign the waiver if students are under age 18. (Waiver form will be attached to this listing in late May 2025.)

Fore example, if a volunteer works 4.5 hours, then he/she would log 5.5 hours. (Do not use "prefill from the event" option in the mobile app. Type in the hours instead.)
