Pathways of Hope- Hope for Homebound Delivery
Saturday, November 16 2019
Do you like to deliver food to people who can't leave their home and socialize with all kinds of people? Then this adult/youth team opportunity is for you! Pathways of Hope (POH) is the home base for a food delivery service called Hope for Homebound. Meals are picked up from the POH HUB's freezer between 9am-10am to be delivered to about 4 different addresses. The delivery directions will be emailed to you. Please find the boxes labeled SLOBS delivery. Do not take the other delivery boxes. There will be a second husband/wife team delivering that day also. If you would like you can spend time with each client. You may be the only person they see that day.
If this is the first time volunteering with Pathways please fill out the attached volunteer waiver AND Driver's Form (include a copy of your DL and auto insurance card). These forms can be left at the HUB on the HUB manager's desk (Mike van Ahlers). If you have any questions day of the delivery please contact Ed Luque 714-420-8689. If the client does not answer, please return all the food to the HUB freezers.
