Orange Home Grown Farmers Market
Saturday, October 17 2020
Come help out at the Orange Home Grown Farmers Market on Saturday mornings!
This SLOBs volunteer opportunity is completely outdoors. Get some fresh air while helping local farmers and vendors provide fresh and healthy produce to Orange County. Orange Home Grown is able to open because of volunteers like you, who will direct market patrons to follow our foot traffic safety protocols and ensure social distancing. From Orange Home Grown:
From the organization:
"We ask that all of our volunteers wear face coverings during this time, along with closed toed shoes and comfortable clothes. Please also bring water bottles as it is starting to get warm. We have orange vests and name tags for all volunteers to wear while on-site. Attached is a volunteer waiver for the farmer's market."
Location*: 303 W. Palm Ave., Old Town Orange
"With the reopening of Palm Street, we have established a new entrance and exit for the OHG Farmers & Artisans Market. We recommend parking in the FREE public structure on Lemon Street and walking to the market entrance, also located on Lemon Street."
*As this location is outside of our normal service area, volunteers may add 1/2 hour to their service hours to account for drive time.
