Over the first quarter of 2022, we released a few new features that we are excited to share! From new administrative roles to improved site experience, there's something for everyone in our latest round of updates.
Event Manager Permission
We've released a new administrative role for users that need specific access to manage the event calendar without accessing other administrative areas such as volunteer data and hours. Event Managers can create new events and modify existing ones, as well as access the digital sign-in sheet to sign volunteers in and out during events. Event managers will also have special reporting privileges so they can run event-specific reports to monitor RSVPs and upcoming opportunities.

Profile Photos
Organizations can now add a custom field for Profile Photos! With Profile Photos, you can associate a specific photo with a volunteer. This is an administrator-only feature designed to allow for administrators to view their list of volunteers with names and photos for improved recognition.

Volunteer Experience
Thanks to user feedback, our team has been able to make several updates to improve the user experience for volunteers! These include:
- New landing page to direct first-time visitors
- Adjustments to account navigation
- Option to remove a single site from a user profile
- Modifications to the timesheet and access to historical hours
Optimization Updates
Behind the scenes, our development team worked on several optimization updates to improve the overall speed and performance of the website. Organizations with large amounts of data should see the most significant changes with improved loading speed of their sites. We have also upgraded the mailer system to increase the speed of bulk emails and prevent any performance issues during peak activitiy.
