Join us for a day of volunteer service! For those of you who worked at camp last summer, you know that Fairy Wood is one of RHA’s featured highlights for campers and visitors (both young and old). RHA is looking for volunteer help on Monday, January 16th from 10am-12pm (MLK Day). Volunteers will receive service hours for participation and tasks will include the following: clearing overgrown brush, strategically moving debris and stumps, installing the mailbox, and general tidying up. We will also have the opportunity to walk the yellow trail and do some maintenance along there too. Tasks on the yellow trail will include straightening tree tubes and widening the trail in several areas as needed. It may be cold, so please dress in layers and bring a reusable water bottle. Light refreshments will be served. Gloves and hand tools will be provided. High School students welcome (Students between the ages of 13 and 15 must be accompanied by an adult).
