Raritan Headwaters Association

In the spring of 2023, Raritan Headwaters Association partnered with the Somerset County Parks Commission to improve the riparian buffer along the North Branch of the Raritan River at Natirar and planted 150 native trees and shrubs along the riverbank.

RHA is now seeking volunteer help to maintain the plantings by fixing tree tubes and cages and removing invasive vines from around the plantings.

Please dress for the weather and working in an area with briars, tall grass and shrubs. The event will be held at the Natirar Park located at 2 Main Street Gladstone, 09734. Please park in the main parking area linked below and we will walk to the planting site together:
