Join Grassroots Ecology, a local non-profit, for a planting workday on Sausal Creek! Help improve habitat for native insects, birds, fish and other animals as we work to help restore the "bottom of the food chain" - our native plants that support all other native life.
This is a community workday; volunteers of all ages to join in this workday to restore the native habitat. Minors under 18 require a parent to approve the online waiver when registering for this event, and children under 12 require an accompanying adult (unless prior approval is obtained from the workday supervisor).
Please bring a reusable water bottle, and dress for outdoor work (sturdy shoes and long pants recommended). We provide gloves, tools, and snacks.
