Volunteer at the Columbus Humane Society!

They will give you a brief tour to familiarize you with the facility, what they do, and who they are as an organization.
Tasks depend on what the shelter needs on those days and can vary. Some of the tasks that the groups assist with include organizing the basement, assorting donations, cleaning carriers, doing enrichment, cleaning doors and windows, doing laundry, folding t-shirts, etc...
People should wear closed-toed shoes and clothes they don’t mind getting dusty and/or dirty.

Message from the volunteer programs manager: "I hope everyone comes with enthusiasm to help and contribute to supporting our furry residents and our organization! And at the end, we'll have the opportunity to interact, play, and make sure everyone gets their pup time!"
