Operation Orange - Stillwater

Operation Orange is an outreach program for high school students. On Saturday 1/7/2023, we will be having operation orange in Stillwater, OK. The arrival time is 7:30 am, and a hotel for Friday 1/6/2023 will be provided if needed. Please let Sarah Wilkinson know.
BELOW IS DETAILED INFORMATION:
A school car will be provided (please let Sarah Wilkinson know if you need a school car). Please carpool!
Dress Code: Black scrub pants with Operation Orange T shirt (you will receive this the day of the event)
Breakfast and Lunch will be provided
You will receive a $50 check at the end of the day
If you do not take a school car, external affairs cannot compensate for your gas mileage
Mandatory Trainings
If you sign up, you will have a quick lunch meeting with external affairs on 11/17 at 12:00 pm in E378. A fajita bar will be provided for lunch.
You will need to attend the SIM and Intubation Training. (TBD, waiting on the SIM team. It will most likely be the last week of November/first week of December)
Stations:
SIM/Anatomy: the station will be split between working through a simulation case and demonstrating anatomy. It will be a heart and lung and you will just go over the basic anatomy structures.
Intubation: You will teach students to intubate on the mannequins. You will find the fastest/most accurate in the group and then at the end of the day, they will race against the winners of the other groups.
Chest Compressions: You will teach students chest compressions and then towards the end of the station, they will race against each other to find the most accurate in the group! At the end of the day, they will compete with the winners of the other groups.
