TouroCOM-NY-Middletown

This is an annual event for kids around ages 3-10 for Halloween. At our Educational Haunted House, kids will rotate through 10 rooms that will be decorated from floor to ceiling based on the body part theme! In each room, medical students will talk about different parts of the medical field and the human body to educate the kids and give them a fun and easy craft, activity, or experiment to bring what they learned to life! This event not only provides a fun activity for kids to engage and bond, but gives them a true glimpse into the world of science and medicine to encourage them to stay curious and engage in learning about how their bodies work. Touro students also discuss how doctors can improve the health of patients and "make them feel better" and teach patients how to better take care of their own bodies.
