Tarrant Food Bank Volunteer: Quality Control Shift

No specific attire. Wear something comfortable. Individuals are invited to volunteer for Quality Control (QC) at Tarrant Area Food Bank's distribution center, where donated food products are sorted, inspected and repacked for distribution to a network of partner organizations in a 13-county area. Volunteers in Quality Control make a BIG impact by helping to ensure that our neighbors in need receive safe, quality food.
Volunteer roles can include, but are not limited to:
Sorting, cans, grocery items and packaged meats
Preparing boxes
Manual pallet jack operating
Sweeping/Mopping
Pallet wrapping using shrink wrap
Taking cardboard to onsite compactor
