Candidate for PTO Co-Treasurer - Sign up closes 3/21
The Lincoln Academy PTO is looking for two wonderful volunteers to be Co-Treasurers for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. Since the role of Treasurer will be divided into two roles, responsibilities will be as follows:
Co-Treasurer - Cash Handler:
1. Froyo cash deposits
2. Reimbursements for staff, PTO board, and volunteers
3. Mini grant purchasing
4. Check deposits
Co-Treasurer - Main Email Point of Contact:
1. Respond to queries/requests to ptoleopards.treasurer@gmail.com
2. Respond to budget questions from PTO board members and school
3. Handle bank reconciliations, PayPal, and Venmo
**Both volunteers for Co-Treasurer would be involved in setting the budget at the beginning of the term (July) with the PTO president/board and with filing taxes and making sure our nonprofit forms are filed timely.**
Our current Treasurer will assist the new Treasurer as a guide and resource during the following school year. For this PTO Board position, it is best to consider this a two-year commitment so that the first year’s learning pays off! The Treasurer will serve from July 1st to June 30th for the filing of taxes.
This can be a shared position (up to 2). If you have an ideal partner in mind, please encourage them to sign up too. Please note that if there are more than 2 candidates interested in this position, a vote will be required in our elections in April. Your presence will be requested for our March 25th meeting so that we can announce your interest and nomination.
