Matting Lower El Student Artwork
Help with matting student artwork. Once trained, you could take this work home and complete it over the course of several days or evenings. Basic steps include:
1. Selecting a color of construction paper to match the artwork
2. Cut construction paper to fit better, if needed
3. Use a glue stick to secure the artwork to the construction paper or just hot glue corners and spots in the top, bottom, and middle (this is much faster)
4. Add a sticker label to the artwork and double check the label matches the student's name and class
5. Repeat
6. When finished, check off students and make sure every student has TWO pieces of art matted and labeled ready for the art show
