Art Show Prep: Melting Crayons (at home)

AT HOME PREP: Melting crayons into silicone molds - these will be given as gifts to everyone who attends the Art Show on March 8. We need 2 volunteers to pick up the supply of broken crayons at the front office, anytime between February 12 and February 23, and return the molded crayons by February 29. This is a great task to do either with older kids, or after the kids go to bed at night.
7:00pm - 8:30pm
Melting Crayons into Silicone Molds
Bethany or Merideth can provide additional instruction, but here are the basic steps:
1. Melt down/bake old crayons in your oven at 250 degrees for 15-20 minutes
2. Pour into garden-themed silicone molds (flowers, hearts, etc)
3. Return to school for the art show by Friday, 2/29/24
