Mass for Prayerful Remembrance & Intercession for those who have been affected by Abortion (Spiritual Work of Mercy OR Diocesan)

The diocese is sponsoring this event for women, men, families, healthcare providers, everyone who has been directly or indirectly impacted by abortion. The morning will begin at 10am at the Basilica of St. John the Evangelist at 279 Atlantic Street in Stamford - the morning will include personal testimonies, intercessory prayer, eucharistic adoration and the rosary and Mass. This is an amazing opportunity for those that need spiritual works of mercy or diocesan service. The morning will end with Mass which will start a little after 12 noon.
We have been told that there is nothing graphic about the day and it is appropriate for teens and can really shed light on the impact abortion has on others, not just the mother and father (grandparent, sibling, medical professional, therapist, etc.) seeking healing and forgiveness.
Students must attend with a parent -- you can attend all or any part of the day -- you may claim service for the actual amount of time you are there.
