Easter Baskets for Children in Need (Parish Service)
Monday, March 29 2021
A wonderful way to experience tech free family time is to work together in service to those in need. We have been asked to do Easter Baskets for some of the children in crisis at Norwalk Dept of Children and Families. So why not put down the electronic devices and take on this project as a family to provide an Easter Basket for a child in crisis.
Select a child and then tailor the basket for your child, using the components listed below.
if you select a teen, please vary the contents to what you think a teen would like.
For toddlers, please include a small stuffed Easter toy, board book, baby/toddler size socks, sippy cup and a few containers of applesuace and a small box of Cheerios. Please include a homemade Easter card. No candy, please.
Use a 12" in diameter Easter Basket and fill it with the following items. Wrap it in cellophane, tie it with a festive ribbon and LABEL WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME!! Drop off will be in the Tudor House March 27-29. Earn whatever time it takes to prepare the basket and plus 30 minutes for your donations!
