St. Aloysius Parish

This is an at home opportunity. The Confirmation Students at St. Aloysius school started the project, but we need a few more helpers to finish the needed cards!

The folks at the School House Apartments are receiving little gifts at their door during the month of December. This facility provides supportive housing for the elderly, so many of the residents have to stretch their budgets to afford the basics. They have asked us to provide for each of the 40 apartments a holiday card with 6 quarters which will provide them to a wash and dry on us in their coin operated laundry room.

Please make 3 cards
Decorate the front of the card with a festive holiday illustration or drawing.
Inside the card, tape 6 quarters and write the phrase "Have a wash & dry on us!"
Include a favorite inspiring scripture verse.
Sign just your first name.

Put in a bag or envelope to the attention of Chris Otis and place in the bin right outside the front door of the parish office at 40 Maple by this THURSDAY, December 9th. You may claim whatever time it takes you to make your 3 cards in the area of parish service.
