St. Aloysius Parish

We invite our confirmation students and their families to participate in the opportunities that our Respect Life Committee has planned here at St. Aloysius to commemorate the March for Life in Washington. Although we will not have an official delegation travelling to the March, it is important to do what we can here in our parish to pray and stand for life.

We as Catholics believe that life begins at the moment of conception and that all life is to be respected with dignity. Hundreds of thousands will be in Washington for the March for Life to listen to pro life speakers and then march peacefully up Constitution Avenue to STAND FOR LIFE!

We ask parents to consider bringing your confirmation and high school teens to some of our prayer opportunities here. We ask that confirmation students are accompanied by parents, so that you may have discussions about the topic. Please visit the Respect Life tables in the narthex for information. Students may claim whatever time they spend on an activity and may claim it as a spirtual work of mercy (for prayer) or parish or other service for watching EWTN or donating to the YM collection. If you make a donation to the Youth Ministry Drive for Malta/Birthright, you may claim 30 minutes of service.
