St. Aloysius Parish

I have just been called by a grandmother who is in crisis and is watching over her 3 grandchildren. The younger ones have been asking if the Easter Bunny is coming and she unfortunately cannot afford to provide Easter baskets. This is a quick turn around project.

Each student is asked to use a minimum 12" in diameter Easter Basket and fill it with the following items. Wrap it in cellophane and tie it with a festive ribbon.

Bring your basket to the Tudor House (30 Maple Street) on the St. Aloysius Campus by Wednesday, April 13 between the hours of 8am - 6pm.

Basket Components - You can vary the components based upon the child's age

Easter Basket (12 inches in diameter)

Grass for bottom of basket (any color)

Coloring book (unisex)

Box of 24 crayons

Playdoh ( individual container)

Small unisex game/toy (ie..jump rope, paddle ball game, playing cards, go-fish, small puzzle)

Bubbles

Child's unisex toothbrush and toothpaste

Food/candy (nut free)

Chocolate bunny (6inches tall)

Peeps (1 box any color)

Pre-packages Easter Candy (ie...mini Cadbury Easter eggs, m&ms, eans, gummy bears)

Individual packaged snack (ie...teddy grams, gummies, pretzels)

Small Applesauce cup or squeeze pack

Handmade Easter Card with a prayer in it - this is a faith filled family!

You may claim as much time that it takes you to shop for and assemble the basket.
