Easter Baskets for Parish Elderly

Our high school teens will be delivering some Easter Baskets to some of the elderly of our parish!
Your basket should be decorated in an "Easter theme" - maybe embellished with silk flowers and ribbon. The only required item is a handmade Easter card with a personal note and a bible quote.
The basket should be filled with adult Easter items such as a box of decaf tea, boxed cookies, a few plastic Easter eggs filled with wrapped candies, prayer cards, a religious paperback book, an Easter themed notepad, a small stuffed animal, a rosary, a wrapped chocolate cross, perhaps a pack of Easter tissues, small jar of jelly, seasonal kitchen towel, etc. Please feel free to be creative!
Baskets need to be wrapped in cellophane and tied with a bow so that they are ready for delivery.
For some of the homebound, this may be the only Easter gift they receive.
Baskets need to be delivered to the office, 40 Maple Street on Monday, March 28. Please place your basket on the cart in the hallway outside the religious ed offices and check off your name. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR BASKETS EARLY! THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION!
You may take up to 2 hours of parish service depending on how long it has taken you to complete this project.
