at our Local VA Hospital

Take gallon size zip lock bags and fill with …

For the Patients
candy and individually wrapped cookies,
cool-looking socks, lip balm
shaving lotions (no razor blades),
anything patriotic to decorate their room
Most, but not all, of the patients are men.
Make a handwritten Veterans Day card

***OR***

For the Staff
gloves and scarves gender neutral
chocolate candy, hard candy, granola/power bars,
Enclose a handwritten note of thanks

Handmade personal cards from the kids. No last names only use first names when signing the cards

We are unable to accept homemade food.

Please Return bags to the box in the narthex between October 26 and November 7 so we can deliver them in time for Veterans Day.

You may claim one hour of parish/other service for however many bags you do! Please try to do at least one for a patient and one for a staff member!
