St. Aloysius Parish

This is an at-home project. Purchase a gingerbread house at your favorite local grocery store, Costco, Michaels, Walmart. If you google Michaels coupons, there is usually one you can use! Construct your house, decorate it (you may want to use additional candies and food products in addition to what is in the kit), wrap it festively in clear cellophane and tie it with a ribbon. Your constructed house should be dropped off in the parish offices Monday, December 11, so we can deliver them to the homebound and set up our gingerbread village at SchoolHouse Apts!

When you return your decorated house - please check off your child's name so that we know who has returned them. Again, please wrap it in clear wrapping.

Students will earn parish service for assembling and decorating the house. It is fine to take credit for the amount of time you spend on this project, although you should be able to complete this task in no more than 2 hours. PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP TO DO ONE GINGERBREAD HOUSE PER FAMILY! SIBLINGS ARE ASKED TO WORK TOGETHER!
