“Pre-Great Louisiana BirdFest” Introduction to Birding, Binoculars and Guides This course is designed for the beginning birdwatcher who is interested in learning how to identify the different types of birds that we might encounter here in Louisiana. It will include instruction on use of binoculars and field guides as well as tips for bird identification. The outdoor classroom will be followed by a bird walk identifying birds seen at the Northlake Nature Center. (Loaner binoculars will be available).
