YOGA ON THE PINECOTE PAVILION
Saturday, March 13, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Enjoy a gentle yoga class with instructor Steven Furr in the beautiful natural setting of the Pinecote Pavilion. Class limited to 15. Please bring your yoga mat and arrive 10 minutes early. Reservations requested. Members $3, non-members $6.
FAMILY CRAFT WORKSHOP: St. Patrick’s Day Rock Painting
Saturday, March 13, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Participants will paint a St. Patrick’s themed rock to take home and one to leave at the Arboretum. They will also make a Leprechaun house out of sticks for their own garden in this fun family workshop led by Sherri Lowe. Visitors will find and relocate the rocks on future visits. Limited to 12 persons. As children must be accompanied by an adult, there is no minimum age requirement. Cost is $4 for members (both adults and children), and $6 for non-members (both adults and children). Registration required.

Learn about their fascinating history, and how to distinguish them from their "imposters" in this program with Eileen Hollander, Past President of the Greater New Orleans Iris Society Inc. and a Pearl River County Master Gardener for over 15 years. Eileen is truly a regional treasure due to her extensive knowledge on “LA Iris”. You’ll learn the secrets to growing these beauties successfully in your home garden, and how to choose the best Louisiana Iris plant based on American Iris Society judging criteria, as well as tips on propagation and hybridizing.
