General Meeting Donation Drive for the Little Free Pantry of Stamford
The Little Free Pantry is a free-standing, outdoor structure, open 24/7, near the entrance to St. John’s Lutheran Church just off Newfield Avenue. It was set up in September 2021 thanks to generous founding organizations such as the New Canaan Rotary Club and Zion Lutheran Church. The aim is to be a supplement to food banks and government assistance and help people dealing with food insecurity to find food & basics in a convenient manner.
Please support the Little Free Pantry by bringing your donations (list given below) -
1) on March 15, Saturday between 2.00pm - 2.30pm right before the General Meeting
OR
2) dropping off donations between March 8 - March 14 at 873 N. Wilton Rd., New Canaan.
Sign in your name for 0.5 hours on the sheet.
Priority items:
Small jugs of laundry detergent, pods, or laundry soap sheets
Small bottles of liquid dish soap
Home cleaning products such as multi-purpose cleaners, toilet cleaners
Toothpaste, dental floss
Shampoo, conditioner, bar soaps of any type
Diapers (all sizes welcome)
Feminine care products (smaller packages are preferred)
Spices such as salt, pepper, garlic
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate mixes
