Volunteer to assemble seed kits for PUSD 3rd graders. These "Grab & Grow" kits accompany their plant life cycle lessons.

Each kit will contain a small bag of dirt, a planting container, seeds, an information booklet from Huntington Gardens, a magnifying glass, and instructions. These supplies are essential for our students’ science lessons this semester.

Please feel free to bring your earphones to listen to an audio book or music while you help.

Parking & Entrance: SEE ATTACHED DIRECTIONS
Park in the visitor lot off of Canada Ave. Enter through the back door. PUSD Staff will greet you there.

Dress:
Dress for comfort and mobility. We suggest you wear sneakers and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. The floor is concrete. You will work in an air conditioned room if air quality is bad. If not, we could be in the shade outside.

Safety Protocols:
**All volunteers help with the understanding that they do so at their own risk. Anytime a person leaves their home, they increase their chance of exposure to COVID-19.**

- High school students aged 15 and up can serve only with parent permission.
- Please wear your own face covering, such as a bandana, scarf, or mask.

Given the state mandate of no more than 10 people gathering at a time, we are asking for a specific number of volunteers. If you cannot make your shift, please let us know right away. Never volunteer if you are not feeling well. Cancel your shift.
