Make a Difference Day in Bidwell Park! Saturday, October 26, 10 am to 1pm. volunteers will meet at the South 1 Mile entrance across from 977 Woodland Ave. The focus will be the removal of ivy from around the bases of native trees and removal of invasive vegetation. Closed-toe shoes required, long pants recommended. Tools provided. Please bring gloves if possible, otherwise provided. Your RSVP to this event acknowledges that you have read, understand and agree to the terms as described in the attached City of Chico release of liability. In the event the participant is under 18 years of age, please print & complete the attached volunteer application & return to Shane Romain, Assistant Park Manager, shane.romain@chicoca.gov or 530-896-7831.
