TTC led work party at Capitol Forest Feb. 22, 2025

Starting at Rock Candy Mountain (Discover Pass is required) and riding out to various work sites. Clearing down trees, cleaning out culverts and addressing drainage needs. Note that there is compact snow and ice on the trails. Be prepared to fight our may through in in places.
What Do Volunteers Need to Bring? Drinking water, hardhats, gloves, shovels, grub hoes, Personal
Protective Equipment (PPE), Rain gear, Motorcycles or Quads (4-Wheeler). This is a NO WALK-IN work
party. You must have a motorcycle or quad. Plan on 14-mile loop. Chainsaw if you have current certification. Sawyers and swampers (log throwers) are needed, so please come even if you don't have a chainsaw.
Note that the motorized trails within Capitol Forest are currently under seasonal closure. Access to the trails is by special arrangement between TTC and the DNR. Please treat this privilege with respect.
