Many hands make light work! Let's get to work clearing out some of the wineberry and other invasive plants that have taken over the edges of the park. We'll provide some refreshments and snacks, weed warrior kits (10) with gardening tools, as well as directions on how to safely remove these "invaders". Feel free to pack a picnic lunch and consider bringing a sun hat, sun glasses, sun screen, bug spray to keep the critters at bay, a durable pair of gardening gloves and whatever else makes you feel comfortable doing some heavy gardening. Feel free to sign up for multiple shifts or - if you can only stay for part of a shift, that works, too!
