Medieval Games 2025 Parent Volunteer Sign up

There are many parents volunteers needed for the Medieval Games. A quick description is given next to each needed role below. Volunteers are also asked to dress the period and speak the lexicon where possible. Volunteers need to be background checked with the school.
8:00am - 3:00pm
Shire Leaders
Two people will lead each shire. They will guide students through each event. They will stay with their shire throughout the event. They will cheer on their shire members and keep track of them. Each student will be given a shire sash of their respective color. Shire leaders will be given a binder with all the necessary information.
9:30am - 11:00am
Set up Crew
This crew will meet at the farm field that morning, and set up all of the events.
9:30am - 2:00pm
Game Judges
Judges are foremost in charge of running and judging the actual events of the games. The events are Archery, Storming the Castle, The Wall, Tug of War, Trebuchet, Bicycle Jousting. Judges will be given a binder with all the necessary information. Judges are asked to help set up their event during the set up time at 9:30am.
10:00am - 2:00pm
Kitchen Staff
Tiffani Cox is heading up the kitchen duties. Kitchen staff will help prepare, cook, and serve lunch.
10:00am - 3:00pm
King
The role of the King is to walk out with the Royal Court procession during the opening ceremony of the tournament. The king is to look and be kingly and be seen. He interacts with squires as they show virtue, with concise, sincere praise.
He mills about the tournament, making oneself seen.
