VCOM Louisiana

Volunteer with Ouachita Green as they hold their Run for Recycling 5K/10K on September 10th, 2022. The race itself starts at 7:30am and we ask volunteers to arrive at 7am to help with event set-up. Ouachita Green will need help with distributing water to participants, volunteers holding direction signs, etc. The race itself will benefit a local chapter focused on recycling, environmental education, litter abatement, and beautification efforts in Ouachita Parish. We plan to have VCOM student volunteers to help promote Ouachita Green's mission, while also promoting overall health and wellness through exercise, being outdoors, and proper rehydration efforts, while educating the community about VCOM and the osteopathic mission.
We ask that volunteers dress comfortably and wear a VCOM shirt, comfortable shorts, and tennis shoes. Please wear sunscreen and bring water. The event will take place at Kiroli Park in West Monroe.
