Join the VCOM-Louisiana Volunteer Committee for BLEND, northeast Louisiana's premiere food, wine & arts festival on the banks of the Ouachita River! BLEND will be held at the Downtown Monroe River Market on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 5pm to 8pm.

The "biggest party on the river" will feature local men and women who cook, local and legendary restaurant chefs, live music, drinks by local sponsors and a silent auction of works by Region 8 artists! BLEND is set to be the top fundraising event of the year. Awards will be given to “Best of Blend – Restaurant” & “Best of Blend – Home Cook”. Ticket proceeds benefit the Arts Council of Northeast Louisiana's programs and services.

We ask for volunteers to wear comfortable/appropriate attire and help in the “breakdown” of the event, which would include litter pickup and helping to put away any equipment. In doing so, we are directly helping to clean up the Downtown Monroe River Market and likely helping keep litter out of the waterways! By assisting in breakdown, you will also receive a complimentary ticket for the entirety of the event that day (which normally cost $60-$100) so feel free to hangout!
