VCOM Louisiana

Safe Zone training is a program designed to educate participants about issues related to the LGBTQ+ community. Its primary goal is to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for LGBTQ+ individuals, often within schools, workplaces, or communities.

Participants will learn about LGBTQ+ terminology, the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals, and how to be effective allies. The training covers topics such as gender identity, sexual orientation, addressing stereotypes and biases, and understanding how to provide support in a non-judgmental and respectful manner.
