Collecting and annotating material for the Covid-19 and Food Law library guide hosted by the Resnick Center for Food Law and Policy
Wednesday, November 03 2021
The Covid-19 pandemic has and will continue to have an enormous impact on global food systems. The Center created the library guide in conjunction with the UCLA Law Library in April 2020. The purpose of this library guide is to provide resources on the intersection of Covid-19 and food law and policy for scholars, researchers, and officials, which comports with the Resnick Center's mission to provide cutting-edge legal research and scholarship in food law and policy. These resources can also be used to evaluate the role of law in shaping the resiliency of the global food systems to any future sudden disruption. For this project, lawyers and law students will collect scholarship and media articles in a food law area chosen in collaboration with the Resnick Center, and will then briefly summarize these works for the library guide. The Resnick Center will provide a short training.
