Work Permit Clinic with Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project - co-sponsored by Latinx Law Students Association
Friday, November 11 2022
LLSA (Latinx Law Students Association) is partnering with Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project to host a work permit clinic for immigrants seeking work authorization on Friday, November 11th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m (there are no classes on this day). Participants may use these hours for public interest summer funding and for the Public Service Challenge. This clinic may be completed virtually or in RM 2448. Snacks will be provided. The purpose of this virtual one-day clinic is to assist unrepresented immigrants apply for an employment authorization document (EAD). Esperanza will assign you to an individual breakout room (Zoom) so you are able to work privately with participants (and interpreters, when needed) on their i-765 forms. Because space is limited, LLSA cannot guarantee that you will be able to participate in this clinic.
