GSU COL Pro Bono Program

Project Description:
Georgia Appleseed is seeking pro bono research assistance to support their various initiatives - school justice, housing justice, and student behavioral health. Generally, Georgia Appleseed will propose a couple legal research issues that they need information on for policy advocacy, creating educational resources, and collecting data. These research projects can vary widely in their time commitment, and volunteers will be made aware of the necessary time commitment before signing up for the specific project. Georgia Appleseed also works with large law firms, which may be an opportunity for students to work with practicing attorneys in the area. No commitment is required of students until Georgia Appleseed sends an announcement to its “on call” student volunteer list.

How to Sign Up:
You can sign up to be part of Georgia Appleseed's student volunteer pool here: https://gaappleseed.org/volunteer/. When they have needs for volunteers, they will reach out to this group via email, and you can sign up for projects through that email.
