GSU COL Pro Bono Program

GAIN is hosting the upcoming Afghan Asylum Clinic scheduled for Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the New American Pathways Office located at 2300 Henderson Mill Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30345. During the clinic, volunteers will be paired with a clinic participant and will be given two hours to work on the participant's affidavit rough draft in support of his/her asylum application. GAIN provides templates and samples in the training materials. The training materials, along with a short orientation video and the clinic participant's file, will be provided to each volunteer prior to the clinic. There will be three timeslots available, and a volunteer can sign up for one or more time slots. Lunch will be provided.
