GSU COL Pro Bono Program

Work closely with a Cobb Legal Aid attorney to assist with two Special Immigrant Juvenile Status cases and a Spanish-speaking divorce client. Cobb Legal Aid is looking for one or two student volunteers.

Volunteers need to speak Spanish to help communicate with clients (including legal terms and concepts), and may also assist with drafting and attending court hearings. The weekly commitment would be 1-2 hours/week, but additional time may be needed if there is a hearing and the student chooses to attend.

This will be a semester-long commitment. Please submit a brief statement of interest to cwaddell@atlantalegalaid.org. Please submit your statement of interest by September 2nd, 2022. Statement of interests will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis.
