This training is for N.E.S.T. volunteers.
In this session we will briefly review the nest monitoring, emergence, and excavation guidelines as detailed in the NC Sea Turtle Project Handbook and then discuss an enrichment topic around hatchling emergence and sea-finding behavior. This session is intended for experienced volunteers (though all are welcome, there will be repeat of some of the topics presented in Nest Sitting 101).
