High Plains Environmental Center

Our biggest volunteer day of the year! Join us rain, snow, or shine for a cleanup around HPEC's trails and bodies of water. Partner up with HPEC staff and other volunteers to gather as much debris as possible in this 2-3 hour eco-blitz. See areas of trail you've never before seen, connect with your neighbors, and give back to Mother Earth.

Meet at the Visitor's Center at 9AM for group assignments and routes. Work will begin shortly thereafter.

Tea and hot chocolate provided afterwards in the Visitor's Center.

Gear: Boots*, warm clothing, hat, gloves*, sunglasses, water bottle
Provided: trash bags, nitrile gloves
*Boots - We have extra muck boots that we're happy to let you borrow if they fit! Variety of sizes. This is a muddy time of year.
*Gloves - We have a ton of cloth garden gloves you can take and keep, to wear over your nitrile gloves, if desired.
