LONG BEACH INVITATIONAL Regatta (Novice Only)

April 7-9. Marine Stadium (site of 1932 Olympics)
We will need hospitality volunteers as well as hotel room chaperones. Chaperones will be required to stay with their assigned athletes for their ENTIRE shift. (Shift times will be assigned once we have more information). Chaperones must read and agree to LGRC Chaperone Policy, and must be approved by the coaches. At this time, there are no guaranteed spots for chaperones on the bus, so please plan to drive/fly yourself. If spots open up, we will let you know.

6:00am - 6:00pm
Chaperone
Share hours over the 3 day trip with fellow chaperones. Chaperones will be required to stay with their assigned athletes for their entire shift. You will be in the hotel lobby for both day and night shifts.
7:30am - 5:30pm
Hospitality Tent Volunteer
Share hours over the 3 day trip with fellow volunteers. Set up hospitality in the morning, and prepare and serve morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and clean up at the end. Shifts can be divided/organized among volunteers as needed.
3:00pm - 4:00pm
FRIDAY Hospitality Tent Set Up
Unload the trailer and set Up the Hospitality Tent

SUNDAY Hospitality Tent Clean up/Tear down
Tear down hospitality tents, tables, signs, etc and load everything in the trailer.
5:00pm - 7:00pm
WEDNESDAY - Shop for food
Shop at Costco for all food needed for hospitality, and arrange with person loading trailer to drop off food at boathouse.

WEDNESDAY or THURSDAY - Load Trailer
Load up all items into trailer

9:00pm - 10:00pm
SUNDAY or MONDAY Unload Trailer
Unload trailer. Neatly store items in shed. Nothing unclean and no open food can be left in the shed.
