NOVICE AND VARSITY. This is a single day event. Athletes will be taking buses up from Los Gatos. For Hospitality, they will set tents and tables up for us (Like the Head of the American Race). We will need to cart hospitality bins and food up and back in volunteer cars. We will serve athletes breakfast, lunch, and snacks. As of 3/15, the first LG race is at 8:20 am and the last is at 12:30 pm.

Directions:
Lake Natoma - Sac State Aquatic Center

Directions from Highway 50:
Heading East from San Francisco take the Hazel Ave. (Exit 21). Go North onto Hazel Ave. Proceed approximately .5 to Gold Country Blvd./Nimbus Rd. (the second stop light) turn right. Follow the road into the Aquatic Center parking lot.

4:00am - 5:00am
(FRIDAY- time flexible) Costco Run
Purchase supplies (from provided shopping list) at Costco during the week before the event. Note the list will be different/longer this year. Please be prepared to front the cost of the shop and be reimbursed. Deliver food to regatta or coordinate to have it go up with the trailer

1 CHAPERONE per bus is needed to drive up AND back with teams and coaches.

Haul trailer to Regatta and back
This will require a truck that can haul the trailer up and back. 6 hours of volunteer time.

Hospitality Tent Set Up
Unload hospitality bins and coolers with food from car. We will need the dolly for carting. Put up LGRC signs on tents so rowers and families can easily find us.

6:45am - 3:00pm
Hospitality Manager
Help to ensure all shifts are filled, serve as point of contact for event for volunteers, and ensure all volunteers get to cheer their athlete's races. Please have experience with regatta hospitality.

Breakfast/Snack Shift
Prepare breakfast items for rowers - Slice fruit, heat hot cocoa, put out breakfast items, etc. Breakfast clean up

Lunch/Snack Shift
Prep and serve lunch for Rowers; Ensure flow of rowers is organized and that food is replenished as needed. Lunch Clean Up Set out afternoon snacks Please DO NOT clean up lunch until ALL ROWERS have finished racing and eating.

Hospitality Tent Clean Up
Pack up bins Take down LGRC Signs Load up Trucks with items to return to Boathouse. Please do not pack up anything dirty. Clean all items first.

Dish Duty
Take any dishes/tableclothes/utensils used at regatta and make sure they are washed and returned to the boathouse by the next Saturday practice. This is an easy job but please don't leave until you know you have ALL the dirty dishes.
