Create Raptor Flamingos

McKenzie Peila's SCLA Capstone Project needs volunteers to set up / clean up and help make flamingos!
My name is McKenzie Peila and I am a senior in the Silver Creek Leadership Academy. For my Capstone Project, I am raising awareness and funds for the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, Colorado. As a final push to raise more money, I am hosting a flamingo decorating party at Silver Creek High on Saturday, April 23rd from 9-1:30 AM. This is where clubs, sports teams, performing arts groups, and even individual seniors can decorate a flamingo that represents them. It costs $20 to make a flamingo if you sign up before Friday April 22nd, and $30 if you pay the day of. All proceeds will benefit the Wild Animal Sanctuary. Attached is a link to some examples of painted flamingos and ideas of how you can decorate your flamingo. If you love arts and crafts, this is a fun way to engage in that and show your Raptor pride! Please contact me at peila.mckenz04@svvsd.org if you are interested. Thank you!
Set up for the flamingo party, and help others make their raptor birds!
