Computer Lab Instructor

World Relief is looking for volunteers to teach our first ever computer classes to our employment clients. Volunteers come in once a month (or more!) and teach a class for two hours. Classes include Microsoft Office programs, typing, computer literacy skills. Volunteers can also lead workshops depending on their skills related to employment!
Time Commitment:
One Thursday per month for two hours, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm
At least a 3 month commitment, but able to work with volunteer schedules.
Responsibilities:
Computer Lab Instructors teach a class related to Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, typing skills, and more. Instructors show students the basic functions of these programs.
Requirements:
You do not need to be a computer expert to teach these classes, but you must be very comfortable using these programs and have lots of experience using them.
Must exercise high degree of patience, understanding, and flexibility since this is a pilot program... we are learning as we go!
Must be able to take initiative and work with different level English learners.
Record and report monthly volunteer hours served via Track-It-Forward.
