Capitol Theater Take Down

After the last performance at the Capitol Theater we need volunteers to help us take everything from the Capitol Theater to the Tanner Dance Studio. Please check in with a staff member in the front lobby of the Capitol Theater for directions.* If you are helping with transportation there will be someone from the office who will meet you at the Tanner Dance building and direct you where to unload everything.
*If you are helping with costume transportation please check in with Miss Diana backstage.
4:00pm - 5:00pm
Lobby cleaup
help pack away and load items on to volunteer vehicles, other tidying tasks as needed

4:00pm - 6:00pm
Costume Transportation
4 vehicles will be needed at the loading dock for costumes at 4:15. Once their vehicle is full, they’ll need to drive up to the studio to unload. It usually takes about 1 ½ to 2 hours total. Vehicles must be covered (no pick-ups in case of rain). This job takes 1.5 – 2 hours but you may claim 5 volunteer hours for this shift.

4:30pm - 6:30pm
Boutique and other Transportation
We need 2 volunteers with large vehicles in front of the Capitol Theater to help with clean up and load out at 4:30pm. Once vehicle is full, drive up to the studio to unload. Vehicles must be covered (no pick-ups in case of rain). This job takes 1.5 – 2 hours but you may claim 5 volunteer hours for this shift.
