Let's play a game of blackjack or poker, Uno, Go Fish, etc with the residents. Its ok if you dont know how to! Jump in on a game and ask a resident to teach you how to play. It is all about the socialization and cognition for these activities. We even let cheating fly.

If they do not seem to be into cards, you can suggest a nice game of horseshoes indoors. They are not the real horseshoes, which kind of bums some of them out, but try to make it interactive. Move the goals, cheer them on, and make it fun!
