Pathways of Hope Service Project

Volunteers are needed to purchase and deliver school backpacks with school supplies. The backpacks will be distributed to the families that live in Pathways of Hope’s shelters or receive aids at Pathway’s food distribution center.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Meet with your SLOBs group at the front of Five Below store in Fullerton. Please arrive on time.

2) Student volunteers will shop for backpacks and school supplies, which will be paid for by the SLOBs.
3) Immediately after shopping, volunteers will help transport the backpacks and supplies to the Pathways of Hope (POH). Adult volunteers will drive the students from Five Below to POH if student volunteers need transportation.
4) Volunteers will deliver the backpacks and supplies, take group pictures, and tour the renovated storage (food pantry).
5) Adult volunteers will drive student volunteers back to the store front of Five Below around 5:15pm, if students need transportation.
6) Parents and guardians: Please pick up your students by 5:30p at the front of the Five Below store in Fullerton. If you will be late to pick up, please text one of the SLOBs coordinators in advance. Thank you.
